Post Production Zen

New York City was fantastic. Long days of shooting followed by long nights of organizing, copying, and logging footage. The stuff I shot on the 5D is turning out to be our best footage by far (compared to the HVX). I was witness to a whole new side of the city in comparison to my last visit. Rowdy streetball in Harlem, dodging crazy homeless fists in midtown, filming the city's biggest Friday night party and club scene - memorable stuff.

Now it's back to the cave to make sense of it all.

I've started watching a lot of 5x5's lately that people have been posting. 5 shots, 5 seconds each - they can be of anything but usually go with a place or event. I'm going to post a few to represent some cool spots I visited during the trip. Here's the first from Dyckman in the Dominican neighborhood in Harlem.

1. He'll be them someday.
2. Dyckman court from up high (50mm Lensbaby)
3. Spectators getting involved.
4. Money.
5. Vantage.

I like this. I like the boy. And I like the basketball hoop. Yeah... I don't know anything about photography/videos, but I like it. Rock on.
