iPhone Wallpapers

My friend Justin was using one of the photos from my website as the background for his iPhone.  I was flattered, yet disappointed to see it wasn't cropped right, and it looked muddy and pixelated.

The sad truth with digital media - artists spend so much time and money getting the highest quality image.  We pour hours into color correction, effects, and small nuances only a fraction of viewers will notice.  After much labor, the video/image is "done."  Sitting in Photoshop/After Effects/Final Cut looking pristine and beautiful.  From there, the quality gets lower and lower.  Images are compressed and made tiny for the web, where they are copied again and again, surfacing on Facebook looking like trash.  Pristine HD video is squeezed onto (BARF) a DVD.  It's all very sad for us to see the quality degrade as it goes out to the world.  SO, I made a few of my photos into iPhone wallpapers because I've been meaning to do this for myself anyways!

If you're on your iPhone, click a link below - on the next page, tap and hold on the image and choose the option "save image."  There you go!  The image will appear in your saved photos, right next to all your other iPhone photos and videos.
