The second installment from New Orleans, this one is a simple collection of images that examine life and sport in the city. It was presented in a three-screen array, hence the funky letterbox format in the video below. You will have to watch it in fullscreen mode or you will be squinting at little squares.
I love how this video came together, and I really enjoy the simplicity of the piece. Bill Scream did a fantastic job on the soundtrack, weaving a piece of music around the street performer (named Willie) who we filmed as we were collecting images in the city. It was a great off-the-cuff performance, and I think it gives the piece a really authentic vibe.
